PARKANIZE COOKIES POLICY

Parkanize uses cookies and tracking technologies to provide and improve the Platform.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

The Platform uses services provided by carefully selected third parties to support functionality, analytics, authentication, mapping, payments, hosting, and other operational services.

Depending on the services enabled within the Platform, these providers may include:

  • Ziina Payment Services
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud hosting providers

These third parties may place or access their own cookies or similar technologies in accordance with their respective privacy policies. Parkanize does not control these technologies and is not responsible for the privacy or cookie practices of third-party providers. We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie policies published by each provider on their respective websites.

5. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may amend this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and similar technologies we use, developments in applicable law, or updates to our business practices.

Where we make material changes, we will provide appropriate notice by publishing a prominent notice within the Platform or by other suitable means and will update the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this policy.

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your renewed consent before introducing new categories of non-essential cookies.

Your continued use of the Platform following notification of non-material changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Cookies Policy.

7. LEGAL BASIS FOR COOKIE USE

7.1 Parkanize processes personal data collected through cookies on the following legal bases:

  • (a) Essential Cookies: legitimate interest and contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), as these cookies are strictly necessary for the provision of the Platform
  • (b) Performance & Analytics Cookies, Functional Cookies, and Advertising / Third-Party Cookies: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), obtained via the cookie consent mechanism described in Section 2

7.2 The data controller for personal data processed through cookies placed directly by Parkanize is Parkanize FZ LLC. For cookies placed by third-party providers, the relevant third party acts as an independent controller in respect of data collected via its own cookies; please refer to each provider's privacy policy for further information.

8. DATA COLLECTED AND RETENTION

8.1 Cookies and tracking technologies used on the Platform may collect the following categories of personal data: device identifiers, IP addresses, browsing behaviour, session duration, page interactions, approximate location data, and preferences.

8.2 The retention period for data collected through cookies varies by cookie type.

8.3 Parkanize will not retain personal data collected via cookies for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Where analytics data is anonymised or aggregated such that it no longer constitutes personal data, the anonymised data may be retained indefinitely.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Cookies Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection or data protection laws applicable to you in your country of residence.
